South Florida Peacock Bass 7-13-08

Peacock bass fishing in South Florida is great right now even with the heavy thunderstorms we’ve been getting. Paul Goubert and his father were out with me on Sunday July 13th and they landed 15 peacock bass in a half-day trip including this monster butterfly peacock that Paul caught at 11 years old. It surely almost broke the poor little guys wrist. This male peacock weighed 7 1/4 lbs. and is our new record landed peacock bass.
