South Florida offers such a diverse fishing environment it’s hard to choose where one would like to fish. We have so many fishing opportunities from the ocean, backcountry flats, everglades bass, peacock bass fishing in Miami and many more! As you can see the choices are endless. When looking for a guide to trust we offer honest and up to date fishing reports for all of South Florida. Many guides on the internet in Florida are no more than booking agents sending you out with unqualified and unlicensed fisherman. Our Florida Bass Fishing guides are certified U.S.C.G. captains and fully insured to operate as a guide for your safety and comfort. We only use a few qualified captains with years of fishing experience in South and Central Florida. So next time a bass fishing trip is on your agenda be rest assured you can count on us for a safe fish catching experience.

Our guide service concentrates mostly on South Florida’s Lake Okeechobee, the Florida Everglades, and the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale areas for largemouth bass and peacock bass. The best time to visit our fine fishing waters is from March through July when the rainy season begins. During this time of year the water levels are being lowered in preparation for the rainy hurricane season. Largemouth bass in the Everglades usually penetrate deep into the flats or swamps and stay until they are forced back into the main canals. This occurs during the late summer months starting usually around August and September. After several months of low fishing pressure and protection from high water the water starts to recede and bass become easier to catch on the drop-offs of the main canals through out all of the South Florida Everglades. That’s when the fun begins with days producing up too and over 100 fish days. It’s hard to imagine catching that many largemouth bass in one day anywhere in the U.S.

In Miami & Ft. Lauderdale lakes and canals lurk the Amazon Butterfly Peacock Bass. Only in South Florida and Hawaii can these beautiful scrappy fish be caught. Stocked back in the mid-1980’s peacock bass have flourished and become a treasure for South Florida anglers. With our weather always on the warm to hot side peacock bass thrive in very shallow water and stay quite aggressive in the hottest of weather which is quite the opposite of largemouth bass. This makes for a great year round fishery for these great fighters. Come enjoy South Florida anytime of the year for Peacock Bass or Largemouth Bass fishing, call us at (954) 445-1811 for more details.
