Florida Peacock Bass

Capt. Victor's 4 1/2 lb. Butterfly Peacock Bass

Florida Peacock Bass

Florida Peacock Bass fishing was a little slower than normal this winter because of all those cold nights we’ve experienced. Now that the weather has has finally warmed up and will stay this way so should the peacock bass really turn on. Here’s a nice 4 1/2 lb. Butterfly Peacock Bass caught by Capt. Victor Campbell who is a guide on the Potomac River in Maryland. Each day in South Florida of peacock bass fishing should produce similar type fish caught. If you’ve never caught a Peacock Bass before of this size you are in for a real treat. They are like smallmouth bass on steriods.
