John White and his friend Russ Erikson were out in early November and caught over 40 peacock bass in the canals of south Miami all on shiners. John’s first fish of the days was this beautiful 7 lb. peacock bass. A great way to start off the day I’m sure. The spring is now almost here for South Florida which translates into awesome peacock bass and largemouth bass fishing from Lake Okeechobee south to the Florida Everglades.
