South Florida Bass Fishing

The Everglades bass fishing has been good this summer considering the heat we’ve been having. The summer usually brings heavy showers along with a few hurricanes or two to mess up our bass or peacock bass fishing. So far so good, but lets keep our fingers crossed. Here is a nice 5 lb. largemouth I caught last week out on alligator alley which is smack in the middle of the South Florida Everglades. High and hot water is the normal for us which shuts down fishing for a few months until winter cools and lowers our water table.  If Luis & Chuck 8-21-09 001 these conditions hold up we should have a great fall and winter fishing season on Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades. Peacock bass fishing remains good usually through out the year with no exception this year either. We’ve had great trips all summer long.
