South Florida Peacock Bass

jeff-noah-3-14-09-011The Peacock bass and Largemouth bass have been biting well and should continue now that the cold fronts are gone. Our water temperatures were hovering in the 60’s for quite awhile. Now that we are headed into the high seventies the fishing will improve dramatically. This week we landed the 8 lb. bass in the Everglades by Mike Greico and on Saturday March 14th, Jeff Noah and his buddy Al landed 7 peacocks in a half-day trip up to 5 lbs. Each day should be better and better for at least three or four months until we get those heavy summer thunderstorms. E-mail us at floridafishing@bellsouth.net or call us at (954) 445-1811 for information about fishing in South Florida.
