The South Florida Everglades continues to produce the best largemouth bass fishing in the entire country. On Tuesday Dec. 9, Capt. Victor and I were out trying to see what’s going on in the canals and we landed at least 70 bass in about 4 hours of fishing. Most fish were on the small side with a couple decent keepers up to 4 lbs. Water levels are dropping and the temperature of the water is cooler making the bass respond better than normal for this time of year. Usually we don’t experience this good of catching bass in the Everglades until mid to late March.
