Peacock bass fishing this week has been red hot in Miami. South Florida is the only place other than Hawaii that has butterfly peacock bass fishing. We’ve been guiding here for 6 years for peacocks and fishing for largemouth in the Everglades and Lake Okeechobee for 20 years now! Yesterday we had Ed Cohn from Miramar, Florida out for his first time and he boated 12 peacock bass in half-day up to 4 1/4 lbs. All Ed’s fish were caught on live shiners.
