We were out with Brian and Shelly from New Hampshire on Thursday for a half-day peacock bass trip to Miami. In about 4 hours the couple landed 8 small peacocks before Shelly had to call it a day because of too much sun the day before at the beach. Miami canal fishing for peacock bass is at it’s peak right now and should stay good until the heavy rains start within the next month or two. These fish bite pretty good year round but the best time is from February through July.
